Pros: Improved acceleration, safety features, comfy seats, price, styling. Cons: Fuel economy, interior quality, ergonomics, AWD should be an option.
The Bottom Line: The xB has improved in just about every category. While it's not as funky as the 1st generation, it's more refined, and overall a more solid vehicle.
The Scion xB is one of those rare vehicles that evokes so much passion amongst its owners that its shortcomings, i.e. slow acceleration, poor handling, and horrible instrument placement are looked upon as cute little quirks of the vehicle. The VW Beetle ...

Pros: Price Cons: windshield wipers, blind spot The Bottom Line: Nice styling, Toyota reliability, great price
Update: I've now had the car nearly a year and have driven it 8,000 miles. Still love it. The only thing I didn't mention before is that I wish I could turn off the "weight detector" in the front passenger seat. If you put an item that weighs more ...

Pros: Sales process was the BEST I've experienced. Cons: interior could have been a little more luxurious. The Bottom Line: If you like SUV's/Crossbreeds, the XB is a great choice. If you want a great sales experience, go to a Scion Dealer.
Note: My review only covers what I purchased which is: 2008 Scion XB, hypnotic mica, automatic transmission, with stock stereo, six star wheel covers, cloth interior, factory alarm without auto ignition, with 100,000 mile extended warranty. What I ...

Pros: Economical, Cool looks, Peppy, Good aftermarket options, Great high beams, Safety Cons: Clunky shifter, C-pillar blind spot, Base stereo EQ lacking, Dim interior lights, No telescoping steering The Bottom Line: Very pleased with my 2008 xB. Better than some $30k cars I've owned. Fun, practical and roomy for a little wagon.
I bought a new xB (2008) in December of 2007.... What a great little car! I read all the reviews and did some serious research before deciding on it. For me, it's a great combination of power (yes, it's got enough), versatility, economy, and good ...

Pros: its just a very good, good performance, great looks car for Cons: I wish the navigation unit/radio was voice activated. The Bottom Line: Buy one, size of a suv, milage of a good car, tons of space, good looking.
Great car. Especially for the price. My wife and I liked the first one we bought, that we bought another two weeks later. We upgraded the sound system and the navigation unit and put rims on both cars. they look great with black rims. I am a ...

Pros: roomy, good mileage, safe, good stereo system, convenient controls Cons: limited number and colors available at dealerships, cant negotiate price The Bottom Line: If you want an affordable, safe, roomy car, this is the car to buy! It is reliable, easy to drive and has room for everything!
The 2008 Scion XB is a great car. I bought mine thinking I was going to get an average of 25mpg and have actually gotten closer to 30mpg. The car feels very big on the inside and yet is relatively small, making it easy to drive and park. The roominess is ...

Pros: MORE POWER, comfortable seats, ergonomic pedal positioning, better windshield, cargo space, CRUISE CONTROL! modern gauges Cons: Gear shifter positioning is poor and unattractive, no shift lock bumps out of gear The Bottom Line: Get it. You cannot match this car for the price. It is essentially a Camry wagon for 17k.
I first saw the box when it first came out in 2004. I was not impressed with the physical appearance and didnt give it another thought until my 2001 Chrysler Sebring Coupe died about a year later. With a little prodding from my boyfriend I test drove an ...

Pros: One of kind styling radio with ipod connection.
Seems to be well put together. Cons: Security system extra. No passenger armrest.Low warning buzzer.Moonroof only available on special edition.
This is my 10th auto in nearly 34 years of driving, plus my first non-american car. In summary.. it's different! That is a good thing because at 50 I was looking for "different"
I haven't owned nor drove a SUV or Van, so the high seating position is taking some getting used to. Most people tell me in time I will prefer the better view and the ease of entry and exit over a regular car. I would suguest taking the car for a spin on a highway before buying it.It feels diferent, thought SUV owners will like it.
At 18,000 I feel it's one of the best values around today. Better than the Matrix which cost about 1,500.more with similar equipment. The 2 seater SMART car is only 900. less.
Is there a car made today that is more destintive far as styling? I don't think so. Room? the back seat is equal to a Lincoln. Fold the rear seat down and the cargo space is almost double the much larger Malibu Maxx. 70 vs 42 cubic feet.
Is the car for everyone? No. But that's the point of Scion isn't it?

Pros: Pioneer System, Picks up speed well, drives smooth, good milage, good steering, Cons: The side view mirrors are HUGE, cant tune it much=(
This is a really good car i have been driving it for 6-8 months and have not encoutered any problems...Picks up speed REALLY WELL 0-60 in about 6 sumthing seconds (i think) and also it has a camry engine so thats really good, dont get the stock LED lights you can barely see them . The side view mirrors are HUGE so when turning left u cant see much.and looks much better than the old version, also GREAT BRAKING it saved my life once!but other than that its a really nice car
