Honda Rebel 250 has a great fuel efficiency and a stylish body. But what is the catch? Well, I had an unforgettable experience with this motorcycle. The small front tire of the motorcycle can be easily trapped into a pot hole, which can cause you to...
My 1985 Honda Rebel is still going strong after all these years! I've had it for about 5 years, and the only real problem I've ever had is that the battery dies quite often; I'm not entirely convinced that the battery is the problem. A minor problem,...
Pros: affordable excellent starter bike handles VERY nice small and light Cons: 250cc can be outgrown fairly soon once you master basics and wish freeway riding
No, it's not a hawg - it's a piglet
have a 2000 Honda cmx250 Rebel - bought the bike used (had 2,675 miles on it) at INDY NORTH CYCLES (E.96th) near the end of last oct (2001) for a sticker $2500 marked down on clearance sale for $2000...
Pros: Beautiful styling, light weight, maneuverability and affordability Cons: Underpowered, 360-degree crank, Very few accessories and aftermarket products
Wind at your back . . . Jump Back Jack !!
Wind in your face . . . It's a big disgrace.
If you are looking for a bike to learn riding with, or to get back into motorcycles after a long hiatus as I did, the Rebel 250 is perfect. It's light...
Pros: Dependable, great gas mileage, fun, inexpensive Cons: Underpowered if you don't CHANGE THE REAR SPROCKET!
After reading review after review on the Honda Rebel 250, I've found one consistant complaint: "underpowered - won't go over 70 mph" or "It's only a beginners bike". So I decided to let everyone in on a little secret - IT'S ALL IN THE GEARING!!! My ...
The Honda Rebel took the world by storm when introduced in 1985. Its styling caused many of use who rode the bigger standards to almost want to go back to 250ccs again.
The bike looks good and will get its share of ‘nice bike’ comments from...
Pros: Excellent quality, great for a beginner, low maintenance Cons: Not much power
I've wanted a motorcycle for several years and finally took the plunge this past summer buying a 2000 Honda Rebel 250. This is an excellent beginner's bike for just about anyone who wants to get into motorcycles. The bike is excellent in terms of fit and...
Pros: low to the ground, light weight.... Cons: The passenger foot pegs are in the way when coming to a stop.
My first bike was a 1999 Honda Rebel. I called it my baby Harley. At first I was intimidated by having a machine that could hurt me if I didn't respect it. Soon after I was amazed at how well this bike handled.
The Rebel gets good gas...
This was an excellent purchase, great first bike for men or women! Love the cruiser look and the sit back feel, lots of power.

Pros: Good quality, good gas mileage, good price. Cons: Not good for long freeway trips
I bought my Rebel.one year ago,and I have put 3,700 miles on it. This bike is very dependable and easy to ride.As I said in the title this is a little bike. They make much bigger bikes, however the bigger bikes cost a lot more and do not get 80MPG. I ...
Pros: Good size and power for the new rider. Easy maintenance. Economical Cons: None right now.
As a new rider, my 2005 Rebel has really fit the bill. Though considered by some as "too small and underpowered", I find it very adequate for urban commuting. It has been a comfortable bike for me with regards to size, power, and handling (I am 5'11' and 170 pounds). I have had no problems dealing with traffic whether on the expressway or on arterial streets. Short highway trips (50 miles or so) have been comfortable. Easy to maintain (checking oil, tires, etc.), good gas mileage (50-60 MPG), and reasonable to insure, this has been a great bike for me.
Though I may trade up for a bigger bike later on, I very happy with this motorcycle right now.
Great bike, nice style, you will love it! by ilaey ,Jan 30 '06
Pros: Price, style, weight Cons: Tiny bit more power wouldn't hurt, though!
It is really difficult not to fall in love with this small but fun bike, I bought it about a month ago, and I am creating reasons to ride this bike constantly. It has such a nice design, looks like a miniature Harley, great gas mileage. I am 5'8" 140 pounds, I had no problem with the size. It is a great way to commute in town, but I am not sure if I will feel comfortable to ride it on the highway. it is affordable, if you are a beginner, don't think twice, this is your bike! Enjoy!
