My wife got the Fisher Price Sounds and lights baby monitor as a late baby gift right after she had our son. We did not get a monitor at her shower so this was a big thing for us. In fact I was going to buy one the day after we got it. So it was a good ...
My mother gave me the Fisher Price sound and lights baby monitor back in October which is when I first had my son. It was the one thing that I had wanted that I did not end up getting at my shower, so my mother gave it to me as a present the day that I ...
Pros: Night light, inexpensive, good sound quality, good range Cons: Back battery panel kept in place with screws, just one handset, really long antenna
My wife & I bought this monitor on vacation when we noticed we forgot our monitor at home. It was quite inexpensive, about $20, and it serves well as a back-up monitor. But it really isn't a good choice for an every day monitor. Our every day monitor is ...
Pros: High sound quality, range, and performance at a great price Cons: If you live in close quarters, make sure your neighbors use a different channel.
This basic baby monitor met all our needs and has passed the test of time. I was concerned that at this price point, you might "get what you pay for" but continue to be impressed with this monitor. It is incredibly simple to use and has great quality. ...
Pros: Inexpensive, lights allow sound to be detected without having the volume on loud. Cons: Top-heavy receiver falls over, hard on batteries, breaks easily.
This monitor works great when it's working, but doesn't seem to have any staying power. Our first one stopped working after the receiver took a couple of tumbles. Of course, this is to be expected if this happens, however the reason it kept ...
Pros: night-light on transmitter, monitor lights that indicate noise in nursery Cons: noisy, static, sometimes volume changes, antenna too big, screeches sometimes
I bought this monitor at babies'r'us because it was listed as a most popular product and it was a great price. However, when I plugged this in and turned it on the first time, it was making very loud static noises even though I thought I had them on ...
Pros: Stylish, Simply, Easy, Dependable, Lights show sound even when volume is turned off Cons: Large Antenna, Short Range, small clip
This is a decent monitor if you are on a limited budget and want a good monitor. I've had it for over a year (15 months now) and in the past 2 months it's started to not work right. Things I love: -It works at a fairly long distance (outside and by ...
Pros: I love the nightlight on base and the fact the handset can be used wireless. Cons: Occasionally picks up "bleed over" from neighbors baby/monitor.
We received this Fisher Price monitor as a gift at our baby shower. The gift receipt indicated it was purchased at Wal-Mart, but it is unknown how much they paid for it. This monitor has provided me with peace of mind since our child has begun ...
Pros: Good sound quality Nice night light feature Nice that comes with 2 monitors Cons: None
We purchased this monitor for $60 at Toysrus, it was a good investment. I saw the other monitors for $130-$199 which is not necessary. The monitor works great and it's nice that it comes with 2 monitors, one for the bedroom and one for downstairs. I really liked the night light feature too so you could go into baby's room without flipping the light on. I heard other complaints that the monitor had static, but we had no issues of that sort.
