Pros: Easy to use, versatile, affordable, 5 resistance levels, work upper and lower body Cons: You may feel off balance at first with nothing to hold onto.
I am always looking for variety in my workouts - especially cardio. I really don't enjoy working up a sweat and having my heart pound out of my chest but I know it is good for me in many ways. Looking for something new and different to do, I saw The ...

The AirClimber is Awesome!
by afrean ,May 15 '07
Pros: A fun and easy full body workout - cardio and muscle toning in one. Cons: The computer is useful but could be larger to be utilized more easily when exercising.
My experience with the AirClimber has been very positive.
In addition to following Brenda's upbeat workouts, I find myself getting on the AirClimber every time I am talking on the phone - it's so easy and burning those extra calories can't hurt!
I really love the fact that I am getting a great cardio workout, as well as full body toning at the same time. The BodyCord really adds resistance for even more toning. I also like the smooth motion of the AirClimber - it is really easy on my knees.
I'm having a lot of fun with the AirClimber while losing weight. I would recommend this unit to others.

air climber = fun!!!!
by shamelesshussy ,Jan 02 '08
Pros: cheap, lightweight, good workout Cons: little variability in resistance--only 5 settings.
I'm an old exercise lover, but had fallen out of the habit after fighting cancer for two years, through three major surguries. Saw the air climber on TV, and was attracted by the low cost ( about $100) and light weight (13 lbs, if memory serves), making portability possible and return of the machine inexpensive, if it didn't suit me.
It came to my house within a few days, and i was excited by the charge i got out of it!!! I now get up at my regular time and sneak a few minutes in here and there. It's such a natural, but no-impact regimen that i am actually psyched to work out again. I find it helps with the core muscles, because it has no armhold, thus no possible cheating--unless you are going to hire someone to lean on;)
LOVE this thing. 3 cheers!!!!

The Air Climber is great
by chavera ,May 13 '07
Pros: Lightweight; great cardio as well as muscle workout. You really feel it! Cons: Doesn't seem to work the abs as much as the infomercial says.
I saw an infomercial for the Air Climber, and even though I already have exercise equipment that I use, for some reason this really appealed to me. I knew they had a money-back guarantee, so I figured I'd try it and if I didn't like it I could send it back. Well much to my surprise, I really like it. The workout that Brenda takes you through is REALLY a demanding workout! I like the Super Seven Pump the best of her three workouts (the DVD with all three workouts comes with the Air Climber). I already use a weight machine, which gives me a good leg and torso workout but really doesn't work my shoulders and arms that well. I was amazed at what a good workout I got in those areas with the Air Climber, as well as the fact that my heart rate stays up throughout the entire workout. I would definitely recommend it.
