Pros: Great in-bank service at Yucca Valley. Free checking & ATM, etc. Cons: No local phone.
Since there are no reviews (until now) I thought I could say something.
We opened an account with their Yucca Valley branch a few years ago, though our main banking is with an east coast bank. From time to time, I have run into banking problems and the people in that branch bent over backwards to help me successfully resolve them even though they did not create the problems (relative to my east coast bank). I was very impressed.
Free basic checking and card. $4 annual fee for online banking, which is counter productive since they save man hours. (Hey, I'm from New England; I'm "frugal" - well, okay, cheap :)
I like personal service, so I want to call officers I know. Can't do that, the last I checked; you can only call the main office and talk to a generic rep. Perhaps that's why the personal service in the YV bank is so good - they don't have to keep answering the phone.
